Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: June 22, 2026

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) sets out the conduct that is prohibited on Vortex Sync. It is incorporated into our Terms of Service. Because your communications are end-to-end encrypted, enforcement relies primarily on reports, account-level signals, and legal process — but these rules apply to your conduct whether or not we are able to observe it.

1. Prohibited Conduct

You may not use the Service to:

2. Zero Tolerance for Child Exploitation

We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any sexualization or exploitation of minors. Such activity will result in immediate termination, preservation of available account-level information, and reporting to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and/or appropriate authorities to the extent required and permitted by law.

3. Security & Integrity of the Service

You may not probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service without authorization; circumvent or attempt to circumvent any security, rate-limiting, or authentication mechanism; interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service; or use the Service to build a competing product through scraping or automated extraction. Good-faith security research conducted in accordance with a published vulnerability-disclosure program is welcome and encouraged.

4. Reporting Violations

To report conduct that violates this AUP, contact [email protected]. Please include enough information for us to investigate. We review reports and take action as appropriate. Reports concerning the safety of a minor are prioritized.

5. Enforcement

We may take any action we deem appropriate for a violation of this AUP, including issuing warnings; applying rate limits; restricting, suspending, or terminating accounts; and reporting to law enforcement. Given our end-to-end encryption, our enforcement options are necessarily account-level rather than content-level, except where content is reported to us directly. Nothing in this AUP limits any other right or remedy available to us under the Terms or applicable law.

6. Contact

Questions about this Policy may be sent to [email protected]; abuse reports to [email protected].
